Holt Engineering, Inc., formerly Jack H. Holt & Associates, Inc., was formed in 1978 by Jack Holt, Ph.D., P.E. as a privately owned and operated corporation to perform Geotechnical Engineering and Materials Testing and Inspection Services in the Austin and Central Texas area. Linda Holt, P.E., President and Owner, is a Civil Engineering graduate of the University of Texas and a registered Professional Engineer. She is the successor to the firm her father founded. Our company has assembled a team of professional engineers and well trained technicians in the field of foundation engineering, soil testing, drilling and sampling, concrete testing and construction materials testing and inspection. Our firm is designed to assist the owner, developer, architect, engineer, and contractor in site selection, investigation and design, and construction of many different projects ranging from high rise office buildings, commercial buildings, electrical substations, streets, roadways, dams, bridges, subdivisions, and residential.
